Course Booking Terms and Conditions

The Terms and Conditions set out below and our Privacy Policy together constitute the legal agreement between you and Elan Coaching Limited relating to the provision of training courses provided under ART in Coaching. ART in Coaching is part of Elan Coaching Ltd. Where ART in Coaching is mentioned, this also means Elan Coaching Ltd.

Where the word course is used, this refers to workshops, programmes, masterclasses and events run by Art in Coaching.

1. Acceptance of booking and invoicing

Art in Coaching has the right to not accept a booking.

If a booking request is made either using the online booking form or by email you will receive an e-mail reply confirming we have received your booking request. All bookings are subject to availability.

A booking should only be deemed to be accepted when Elan Coaching Limited issues an invoice in respect of the ART in Coaching booking. Attendance on the course is subject to full payment of the course fee by the specified payment date. See section 2. Course fee and payment.

2. Course fee and payment

The fee to attend a course must be paid in full before the date of the course. This is:

  • ART! Creating Transformational Conversations – 6 weeks prior to the start date
  • Art in Coaching, Art in practice (online) – 8 weeks prior to the start of the programme
  • Art in Coaching, Art in Practice (in person) – 8 weeks prior to the start of the programme
  • Diploma in Art-Based Coaching – 8 weeks prior to the start of the programme

For all other courses fees must be paid in full 6 weeks prior to the start of the course.

ART in Coaching has the right to refuse an attendee entry to the programme if the course fee is not paid before the start of the programme as set out in section 1. Acceptance of booking and invoicing.

3. Deposits

Where part of the fee is deemed to be a deposit, the deposit is shown on the invoice for the course. All deposits are non-returnable except where ART in Coaching cancels a course. See section 5. Cancellations by ART in Coaching.

4. Customer cancellations

The customer must advise ART in Coaching of a cancellation in writing. Contact details are at the end of these terms and conditions.

Cancellation terms for the courses are as follows:

The customer must advise ART in Coaching of a cancellation in writing. Contact details are at the end of these terms and conditions.

The full fees for this course are non-refundable on cancellation at any time.

Art in Coaching, Art in Practice – online and in-person programmes

The customer must advise ART in Coaching of a cancellation in writing. Contact details are at the end of these terms and conditions.

If a customer cancels their place on the Art in Coaching, Art in Practice online or in person programme, 60 calendar days or more before the start of the programme, 50% of the course fee will be payable plus the deposit. Where the fee has been paid in full prior to cancellation, 50% of the fee plus the deposit will be retained by ART in Coaching as the cancellation fee.

If a customer cancels a booking less than 60 calendar days before the date of the programme,100% of the course fee will be payable including the deposit. Where fees have already been paid in full these will be retained by ART in Coaching as the cancellation fee.

If a customer does not advise of a cancellation in writing before the date of the course, the full course fee will be payable and, where already paid, is non-refundable.

The Diploma in Art-Based Coaching Cancellations

The customer must advise ART in Coaching of a cancellation in writing. Contact details are at the end of these terms and conditions.

If a customer cancels their place on the Diploma in ART-Based Coaching, 60 calendar days or more before the start of the programme, 50% of the course fee will be payable plus the deposit. Where the fee has been paid in full prior to cancellation, 50% of the fee plus the deposit will be retained by ART in Coaching as the cancellation fee.

If a customer cancels a booking less than 60 calendar days before the date of the programme,100% of the course fee will be payable. Where fees have already been paid in full these will be retained by ART in Coaching as the cancellation fee.

If a customer does not advise of a cancellation in writing before the date of the course, the full course fee will be payable.

All other courses

For all other courses customers must notify ART in Coaching in writing of a cancellation. Contact details are at the end of these terms and conditions.

For cancellations made 35 days or more before the start date of a course, 50% of the fee is payable plus any deposits specified for that course. Where the fee has been paid in full prior to cancellation, 50% of the fee plus the deposit where specified will be retained by ART in Coaching as the cancellation fee.

For cancellations made less than 35 days prior to the course start date, 100% of the course fee including the deposit, is payable. Where fees have already been paid in full these will be retained by ART in Coaching as the cancellation fee.

5. Cancellations by ART in Coaching

Art in Coaching has the right to cancel a course. In this event Elan Coaching Limited will reimburse in full any course fees paid and Elan Coaching Limited’s liability will be limited to the value of the course fees paid.

6. Transfers

Art in Coaching has the right to not accept a transfer.

If a delegate can no longer attend, they can be transferred to another date, subject to availability, for that course if they advise ART in Coaching in writing as follows:

  • ART! Creating Transformational Conversations – 30 days or more prior to the date of the course
  • Art in Coaching, Art in practice (online) – 90 days or more prior to the start of the programme
  • Art in Coaching, Art in Practice (in person) – 90 days or more prior to the start of the programme
  • Diploma in Art-Based Coaching – 90 days or more prior to the start of the programme
  • All other courses – 60 days or more prior to the start date of the course

If a delegate can no longer attend and they advise us less than the timescales noted above before the course date, they will not be able to transfer and the cancellation terms will apply. See section 4. Customer cancellations.

7. Postponements by ART in Coaching

Art in Coaching has the right to postpone a course.

Where ART in Coaching postpones a course, ART in Coaching will notify attendees as soon as practically possible. ART in Coaching will endeavour to run the course within six months of the postponed course and offer new dates to attendees. Attendees can transfer to the new course dates.

Where attendees cannot attend the new date(s), Elan Coaching Limited will reimburse their fees in full. Elan Coaching Limited’s liability will be limited to the value of the course fees paid.

Where courses are postponed due to forces beyond the control of ART in Coaching, such as pandemics, extreme weather events or other such events, ART in Coaching will endeavour to reschedule courses as is practically possible and is not limited to a timescale.

ART in Coaching has the right to move a course to online delivery.

8. Personal data

Any personal data supplied by the customer can be processed by ART in Coaching on the legal bases and for the purposes set out in the Privacy Policy, which is freely available here: https://www.artincoaching.co.uk/privacy-policy/
